“Working with Emily to train for the Chicago Marathon was one of the best decisions I could’ve made. It was my first time training for a marathon — I had only run a half before — and I had no idea what to expect. Emily created a personalized plan that fit my goals and experience level perfectly.
Midway through training, I got injured and had to take nearly a month off running. Emily was incredibly supportive and flexible throughout that period, coming up with a cycling and elliptical cross-training plan and suggesting gentle PT exercises to aid recovery. Once my doctor cleared me to get back to running, she carefully adjusted my schedule to build me back up to marathon distance safely.
